  • Make caterpillars out of egg cartons and pipe cleaners (give each child one half of the bottom part of an egg carton, cut length-wise, to make six bumps for a caterpillar. Punch two holes through the bump on one end and feed through a pipe cleaner to make antennae. Let child color, paint, or glue tissue paper to decorate their caterpillar).
  • Make butterflies by gluing bits of tissue paper stuck on to a piece paper with a butterfly outline.
