Healthy Families of Alexandria, a program of Northern Virginia Family Service, provides comprehensive home visiting services to first-time parents. Teh program promotes child health and development, builds positive parenting skills and strengthens positive parent/child interaction. Healthy Families Alexandria works to ensure that children in Alexandria, especially those most vulnerable, are healthy and ready to learn when they start school.
