Alexandria Domestic Violence Shelter provides emergency housing and food to domestic violence victims. Alexandria women and their children who have been abused or threatened with abuse may stay up to 28 days. Counselors work one-on-one with each resident to discuss options and provide suport in dealing with financial, employment, housing, legal, and emotional problems.
