The Reading Connection hosted its first gala event, Of Wine and Words, at The City Museum on November 9 from 6:30 to 9:30 pm. More than 200 community supporters and volunteers turned out to enjoy the wine tasting, meet famous children's authors and illustrators, purchase autographed books and bid in a wonderful silent auction.
