Yvonne Brunot joined TRC in October of 2004. As Office Manager, she wears many hats. She currently assists the staff with budget management, the monthly Book Club, grant tracking, donor correspondence and management of the organization's 250 Read Aloud volunteers. She handles all this while responding to email and phone queries!

A native of Washington, D.C., Yvonne came to The Reading Connection with a background in graphic arts and familiarity with children’s book illustrators. She feels that participation in the arts and storytelling are intellectually stimulating for young readers. She is herself very interested in myth and folklore, and strongly believes that they occupy an important place in children’s literature.
